Dr. Rebecca Henschel joined the staff as a lecturer for English in 2018. She studied German and English at the College of William and Mary and went on to earn her MA and PhD in Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has over twenty-five years’ experience as a language teacher, an in-company trainer, and an adjunct lecturer at institutions including the DHBW and SRH Heidelberg. She also translates course documents, academic journal articles, and business texts such as presentations and websites.
Rebecca Henschel holds certificates in Teaching Intercultural Competence in English and One-to-One Language Coaching and is an active member of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL), the Business English Special Interest Group of IATEFL, and the English Language Teachers' Association Frankfurt/
