At the chair ‘Anglistik II’, our research and teaching focuses mainly on British literature and culture from the 19th century to the present, but we also cover the period from the 16th century onwards as well as Anglophone literatures and cultures. We are particularly interested in contemporary literature, above all in the 21st-century British and Irish novel.
