Hanna Staude is an academic staff member at the Chair of English Literary and Cultural Studies (Anglistik II). She is particularly interested in the neo-Victorian novel and the portrayal of the body in the (neo-)Victorian context.
She studied English, German, and Political Studies at the universities of Würzburg, Exeter and Mannheim, where she completed the Master programme “Modern Literature, Media and Culture” in 2021.
Her teaching focuses on the 19th and 20th-century British novel, with a particular focus on the relation between history and literature.
