Chair of Practical Philosophy with a focus on Business Ethics

The research and teaching at the Chair of Philosophy II (Prof. Dr. Bernward Gesang) focuses on topics of practical philosophy, especially on issues of corporate and business ethics, environmental and climate ethics as well as philosophy of law. Historically, the chair's research focuses on the classical utilitarians and the Aetas Kantiana. A current focus in research and teaching (especially for the Master's degree) is the topic of sustainability and its implementation through a transformation of society.
