Public lecture on World Philosophy Day.
On the occasion of the UNESCO World Day of Philosophy, the Philosophical Seminary of the University of Mannheim invites guests to a public lecture by Prof. Dr. Dominik Perler on 19 November p.m. 2026 in the Assembly hall of Mannheim Castle. The lecture was followed by a discussion and a reception in the adjacent premises.
Prof. Dr. Dominik Perler is Professor of Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Co-Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities Human Abilities.
UNESCO World Philosophy Day is celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday in November. It aims to draw the public's attention to philosophical issues and to philosophy as a discipline.
