German Studies Department
The Department for German Studies offers a variety of bachelor's and master's courses in linguistics and literature with an orientation towards cultural, economic and media studies. The courses qualify humanities scholars and cultural scientists for numerous fields of work, for example in the media, education, cultural management or research.
Sub-Departments
The department is divided into the following sub-departments: German Linguistics, German Medieval Studies and Modern German Literary Studies.
