Dieses Langzeitprojekt fragt danach, wie vergangene Kulturen Vorstellungen, Konzepte, Werte und Wissen übergenerational weitergegeben haben. Die Funktion von Körpern als „Transportmittel“, als „Container“ (Daniel L. Smail) für kollektives Wissen steht hier im Mittelpunkt, insbesondere der Körper des Herrschers, der anlässlich seiner Einsetzung rituell gedemütigt wird, dem die Regeln der Macht eingeschrieben und für alle sichtbar öffentlich bestätigt werden.
