Christine Petersen is an academic staff member working in a DFG-project on trust in science. In her PhD project, she is researching distrust in the media. She completed the B.A. MKW in Mannheim. Afterwards, she worked in a corporate network in the IT sector from 2016 to 2019. Here she worked in communications and marketing as well as being project manager for karlsruhe.digital, an initiative to strengthen the IT sector in Karlsruhe, and the Digital Hub for Applied AI, which aims to connect SMEs, start-ups and science as part of a federal digital hub initiative. In 2019, Christine Petersen returned to the University of Mannheim for her Master's degree in MKW. In her master's thesis, she focussed on expressions of distrust in political communication.
