Christine Petersen took her Bachelor's Degree in Media and Communication Studies in Mannheim. After that she worked from 2016 to 2019 at the CyberForum, a network of about 1,200 IT enterprises and startups, where she was working in communication and marketing. She also worked as a project manager for karlsruhe.digital and for the Digital Hub for Applied Artificial Intelligence. karlsruhe.digital is an initiative of actors from within the economy, science, public administration and culture which aims to develop the regional IT industry in Karlsruhe. The Digital Hub for Applied Artificial Intelligence is part of the federal digital hub initiative of the minstry for economy and aims to improve the collaboration between middle class enterprises, startups and science. In 2019 she returned to the University of Mannheim to study in the Masters' Programm for Media and Communication Studies. Her masters' thesis is converned with how distrust is communicated in political communication. Christine Petersen will join the DFG project concerned with Trust in Science. Her dissertation will focus on distrust in science.
