Maria Grub is a research assistant at the chair of Professor Dr. Teresa Naab. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in media and communication science at the University of Mannheim, where she later-on studied in the Master’s program Digital Communication. In her thesis, she focused on the use of AI in health communication and algorithm literacy.
In her dissertation, she will regard the role of AI in the dissemination, detection, and countering of online disinformation.
Maria Grub holds methodology seminars on quantitative content analysis as well as a seminar on digital theories.
