With only around 8,500 students is the Education University of Hong Hong (EdUHK) comparatively small – at least compared to Hong Kong’s population of 7.4 million people. Although the university gained its official status only in 2016, its history dates back to 1853 when Hong Kong used to be a colony of the British Empire. The teacher education programs of Education University of Hong Kong are constantly ranked among the top programs in international and national rankings.
The city of Hong Kong is located on a peninsula in the southern part of China. The world city offers numerous shopping malls, rooftop bars, light shows and many more. If you prefer to relax, you can visit one of the local parks or even the suburbs where you will find yourself surrounded by nature and where it gets surprisingly calm.
All students of the School of Humanities are welcome to spend a semester at Education University of Hong Kong. You can prove your language proficiency with the Language Certificate of the University of Mannheim. Accommodation will be financed and organized by the university.
