International

We take an international approach to studying, researching and teaching! This is not only due to our international range of subjects, but above all to the excellent international contacts that we maintain at all levels. Our cooperations with numerous attractive partner universities and flexible degree plans enable all students to spend part of their studies abroad.

In particular, our programs with an international orientation are almost exclusively taught in English (B.A. Current English Linguistics and Literary Studies), include a year abroad as an integral part of the respective program (B.A. Romance Languages, Literatures and Media) and/or even allow for an international double degree (Master Intercultural German Studies).

In addition, many of our courses in most of the other programs are also taught in English or a Romance language, usually by native speakers or guest teachers from abroad.

Our partners abroad

From Norway to South Africa, from California to Japan – students at the School of Humanities can benefit from spots at over 150 partner universities around the world without having to pay tuition fees.
