If you have any inquiries about finding accommodation, health insurance, residence permits or visa, please refer to the International Office.
Our colleagues from the Psychological Counseling Services of the Studierendenwerk are also happy to help. Should you feel emotional distress at any point of your studies in Mannheim, you can expect professional help and full confidentiality from qualified experts.
Naturally, it will be important to you to establish contact and friendships with other students during your stay abroad. A good way to get to know fellow students from Mannheim and abroad are our student organizations, of which there are over 50. In addition, there are four departmental student committees at the School of Humanities: the SpLit committee (Linguistics and Literary Studies), the MKW committee (Media and Communication Studies), the History committee and the AK Philosophie (Philosophy working group). Feel free to contact us and dive right into Mannheim student life!
If you have questions about studying with a disability, the commissioner and counselor for disabled students and students with chronic illnesses will be happy to help.
