Universität und Campus

On the campus itself you will find a botanical garden, several libraries, a gym and two student houses, which are designed for student's leisure time and can be compared with youth centres. In addition, there are more than 100 initiatives that are always looking forward to your participation.

The City – Besançon

Besançon is located in the east of France, at about the height between Basel and Bern. So journeys to Switzerland or back to Germany are just as easy as trips to Paris or Milan. Both, the university and the city itself, look back on a rich past; as a battlefield in ancient Rome, for example, or as an independent city in the Middle Ages. There are several museums in the city and its surroundings that deal with the region's eventful history.
