Why not studying in Germany's largest baroque palace? Situated right in the heart of the city center of Mannheim, the University of Mannheim offers you a unique atmosphere.
Our courses offer a high degree of professional relevance without disregarding the origins of their disciplines. How did societies regulate the exchange of goods before the free market economy came into being? How do the German and French film industries deal with the issue of migration? Studying in Mannheim will prepare you for your further programs of study and a successful career transition into the world of work.

Throughout the year, Mannheim offers all kinds of cultural events. The Mannheim National Theater has its own ensembles for music theater, opera, drama, and dance. But there are also many smaller theaters all over the city. Every year, various film and music festivals attract renowned artists to the so-called Quadratestadt (“city of squares”). Mannheim is also home to the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg (University of Popular Music And Music Business) that supplies Germany’s band landscape with new talent. In any case, Mannheim extends a warm welcome to all of you! The city will certainly soon become a second home for you.
