  • Biographic Information

    Originally from Canada, Matt has studied and worked all over the world, including Poland, Switzerland, Australia, Slovakia and Germany. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law/Sociology, a Diploma in Teaching ESL and Social Sciences and an M.Ed. in Adult Education. Before coming to Mannheim, he taught at the RWTH Aachen for 6 years, 2 years at the TU Braunschweig and 3 years at the City University in Bratislava, Slovakia.

    Outside of the classroom, Matt enjoys playing and collecting music, hiking, watching ice hockey, and travelling off the beaten track.

    Matthew (Matt) Ford (he/him) is a lecturer in Writing, Grammar and Vocabulary of English, and American Studies. His research focuses primarily on online teaching methods and addressing the diverse needs of international students.
