Elena Nowitzki is an external lecturer for didactics, module I at the chair of English Linguistics/Diachrony of Prof. Dr. Carola Trips.
After her teaching studies in English and Political Science at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg, she completed 18 months of preparatory service at the State Seminar for Didactics and Teacher Training in Heilbronn in 2008/9. Since then, she has been teaching English, social studies and literature & theatre at the Hartmanni-Gymnasium in Eppingen.
Since 2017, she has been a teaching assistant for English at the Seminar für Ausbildung und Fortbildung der Lehr¬kräfte (Gymnasium) in Heilbronn. Since 2018, she has been working as a subject advisor (in-service training) English for the Center for School Quality and Teacher Education (RSGD).
In 2023, she took over a teaching position for subject didactics module I at the University of Mannheim to teach students the basics in theory and practice of English teaching.
