As a small university, the University of Mannheim can fully exploit its strengths in Teacher Education. Whether in one of the eleven subjects, in Education Sciences, or in Teaching Methodology, you will always benefit from good teaching, an ideal learning environment, and personal contact with the teachers and staff. In our Teacher Education programs, you will deal with teaching-related topics right from the start of your studies. Special courses such as service-learning seminars and the first school placement make for a perfect combination of theory and practice. In addition, current challenges such as multilingualism and teaching linguistically and culturally diverse groups of pupils are addressed.
