Wintai Tsehaye is a research fellow and PhD candidate at the Chair of English Linguistics (AI) of the University of Mannheim. After graduation, she joined a project investigating German as a heritage language in the USA within the research unit Emerging Grammars in Language Contact Situations (RUEG) funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Her research interests straddle the interface of language contact research, multilingualism, and corpus linguistics, with a special focus on syntactic and morphological register variation.
