Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Culture and Economy

What is special about the bachelor's program in Culture and Economy is the unique combination of a major in cultural studies with a combination major in either business administration or economics that makes for almost one half of the program: your major is either English and American Studies, German Studies, History, Media and Communication Studies, Philosophy or Romance Studies (French, Italian or Spanish) in combination with Business Administration or Economics.

The knowledge imparted in this program guarantees that students receive a comprehensive qualification in both subjects involving a wide range of skills that will make them stand out from the crowd on the job market. In addition, the embedded job-related Business Communication module imparts a high degree of communicative competence for everyday professional life and at the same time builds a bridge between the two subjects. Furthermore, it sheds light on possible career perspectives and promotes early practical orientation and/or an insight into interesting fields of work.  During the mandatory six-week internship, you will get to know these in a practical way and can apply the skills you have acquired during your studies.

We will help you plan your stay abroad and will be happy to advise you – whether you plan a semester abroad or an internship abroad.
